The first attack ad paid for by the Republican Senatorial Committee has started to air on television sets across West Virginia. The TV ad misleads the viewer into "then" and "now" comparison using the typical Republican nitpicking of Byrd's voting record in the attack. I personally am offended by the stereotypical banjo jug band type music played throughout.
